This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information through remaxchampions.com, our social media pages and our lead forms, including forms on Facebook and Instagram.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, property address and your answers to our questions (for example, when you are thinking of selling). You may give it to us through our website forms, our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, or by calling, texting or emailing us.
- Information collected automatically on our website: your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you view, and information from cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies, analytics and advertising”).
- Information from Meta: when you submit one of our lead forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the information you entered. Meta’s own use of information on its platforms is covered by Meta’s privacy policy.
- If you apply to join us: your contact details and professional information, such as your license status and experience, so we can review your application.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, for example to prepare the free price range you asked for and to call, text or email you about it.
- To provide the real estate services you ask about, and to review applications from agents who want to join us.
- To send follow-up messages you agreed to receive. You can opt out at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve our website and our advertising, and to comply with the law.
Calls and text messages
If you give consent on one of our forms, we may call and text you at the number you provided about your request and related real estate services. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message service.
How we share information
- We do not sell your personal information for money.
- We share it only with:
- The REMAX Champions agents who handle your request.
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our CRM, phone, text messaging and email providers and our website host. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
- Advertising and analytics providers, such as Google, as described under “Cookies, analytics and advertising.”
- Others when the law requires it.
- All of the categories above exclude text messaging opt-in data and consent, which we never share with third parties other than the aggregators and providers that deliver our text messages.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
- WordPress.com and Jetpack, to run the site and count visits.
- Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site.
- Google Ads tags, to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited our site when they later use other websites and apps (remarketing).
- Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps, which may set their own cookies.
These providers may collect your IP address, device and browser information and the pages you view, over time and across different websites. Google explains its practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can turn off ad personalization from Google at myadcenter.google.com. Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Your California privacy rights
- In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, phone number, email address and property address), commercial information (such as your interest in selling a home), professional or employment-related information (only if you apply to join us), and internet or other electronic network activity (such as pages viewed on our website). We collect them from you, from your device, and from Meta when you submit a lead form, for the purposes described in this policy.
- Our use of Google Ads remarketing on our website may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
- California residents may ask us:
- What personal information we have collected about them, and for a copy of it.
- To correct it.
- To delete it.
- Not to sell or share it.
- We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, including real estate record-keeping rules. Then we delete or de-identify it.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
